DRONE-HERO! – Free Commodore 64 Game

Fly your drone suit deep into Mount Azure, blast through the walls and laser the spiders and bats to rescue all 8 trapped miners.

Volcanic activity has trapped miners deep inside Mount Azure.

Only one hero can reach them: DRONE-HERO, the rescuer in the

drone suit. Two little drones on his shoulders lift him through

the dark shafts, his helmet fires a laser and he carries sticks

of dynamite to clear the way.

HOW TO PLAY

* Every level is a mine of 2 to 6 connected screens. Work your

way down the shafts and through the tunnels until you find

the trapped miner. Touch the miner to rescue him.

* Hold UP to spin up the drones and fly. Let go and you sink

slowly back down. On the ground you simply walk.

* Spiders hang on their threads and bats flap through the

tunnels. Shoot them with the helmet laser (it has a short

range, so get close - but not too close!).

* Cracked cyan brick walls block the way. Either:

- drop dynamite next to the wall (DOWN) and get away fast,

the blast clears the wall, or

- keep the laser on the wall for about a second and it

burns the whole wall away.

You get 6 sticks of dynamite per level. The laser never

runs out, so you can never get stuck.

* Stay out of the blast and do not touch the creatures: you

get knocked back to where you entered the screen and lose

some POWER.

* POWER slowly drains while you play. When it runs out the

drone suit is recharged automatically - it only costs time.

* DRONE-HERO NEVER DIES. Lives are unlimited (HERO = infinity),

you always continue.
