THE KIDNAP FILE!

THE KIDNAP FILE! is an English-language Commodore 64 text adventure filled with danger, mystery and action. Terrorists have stolen plutonium from a reactor and kidnapped Professor De Goede, the only man who knows how to build their terrible weapon. They escape toward Nova in a hearse and aboard a freight train.

You are the new sheriff of Axon. Search abandoned vehicles, examine clues, cross dangerous roads, explore the train wagons and confront armed criminals. Enter commands such as NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST, SEARCH, STOP, SHOOT, SHOUT, WHISTLE, ASK and FASTER. Careful decisions earn points, while one wrong move may end the investigation. The game includes colourful screens, SID sound effects, several dangerous endings, a high-score system and a complete victory page with a play-again option.
